My my what a fun mess 5 hours in the mountains!
We chained up and crawled but slowly made it.....that might make me want to live in california forever!
We left at 7:15 am MT and got home (after dropping Jed off in Lincoln) at 10:30

Man, Mel. That's too bad you got caught in it. It's just starting to snow here. But, hope it was worth it for you all. It sure was for us! We're so glad you came. I need to call Shelly--we were going to try to get together, but I lost her cell phone number and didn't have time to see her with Lane & Jordy getting sick. Hope you all stay healthy!

That is so scary driving down those mountains in a storm. Never will forget 1994 (I think) driving down in Gramps' Cadillac with Jen and her kids....that was the worst. We have beautiful snow all over here today. So glad it waited until after Thanksgiving week. Love, Gr/Gr

Sam was always 1/2 hr or more behind us...
Jed was a super stud and put on my chains then took them off! He was amazing...
