What I see

Hello folks, grandma got after me tonight for not blogging enough, (and you know how grandma can be so intimidating at times... hahahha) so I thought I'd give ya'll an update on what's diggin in my corner of the world.
I go to Weber High on A Days which is everyother school day, and it works out really good for me because, duh, I have to ski it up as much as everly possible. My big hang-up these days is no transportation, and there is a new law in Utah that says you have to have your permit for 6 months, so that would put me into april before they hand over the goods. I plan on giving the state high-ups a little visit (and a good kick in the patootie) for that lame one they pulled.
When I'm not kickin butt on the slopes, I'm working. I have 3 jobs. Mostly I work for the people that own the ski shop up here, just watching their kids so mommy can go to work. I say, raise your own kids and let me work at the shop for you!!! Duh!!! No brainer!!! But oh well, I'm stuck in the american pit. The next is I work for a bed and breakfast up here in the valley, and I used to just clean rooms, but they have started having me come at nights to check people in and show them around, so thats good. Then I teach skiing. That's the best. You cant get much better than that!
Ok I'm getting kicked off the computer, I'm never home so I have to get on at late hours of the night and daddy doesn't like that very much. Welp folks, ciao!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BOCANO!

Gr/Gr: We're certainly eternally grateful to Gramps for
paying the $100 to get you out of the hospital 38 years ago,
because you've been such a delight to have in our family.
WE LOVE YOU! Mom & Dad

Roll Out The Red Carpet

I have blogged today to confirm that yes, I have indeed been accepted to SUU, and recieved a scholarship that will pay for four years of tuition. I'm also applying for the honors program down there that will pay for most of my housing and food. I want a car so I won't be a loser, though.

Congratulations, Tay!!

Gr/Gr:
Wow.......Are you just being humble or shy or what? Come on,
tell us about it. A four-year scholarship to S.U.U. is nothing
to sneeze about. And they will let you off for 2 years for a
mission? Can you take your bike to Cedar? And.....well, we want some details.
Love ya, Gr/Gr

Taytooter-

Jo's Thanks
Thank you, everybody! I feel so loved. Since I've already done the juice fast and the cleanse, I'm thinking about the anibiotics. Now I just have to find a doctor!

Jo's news
So, my brilliant and wonderful family, here's the deal: I've been sick for 2 weeks now and I can't get rid of this sinusitis, plugged ears, and cough. These are the things I've tried: garlic, vit. C, GSE, oregano oil, humidifier, hot pad, hot baths, long showers, lots of massage, cranial-sacral massage, bouncing, a haircut and lots of rest. Most people would just say: antibiotics, duh. But you know me: that would be like giving in to everything I'm against. Am I getting more stubborn in my old age? Anybody have any ideas?
Help!

Hey guys, I'm working on a new animation project, and this is the first shot that I have rendered. I'm still probably going to tweak it some more, but here's a taste.

Also, Taylor: Do you have Ryan Shupe's "Hey Hey Hey" album?

Happy day, Sarie!

Gr/Gr: Yes, you are and have been a "pink joy" to us ....
We're sorry that Grumpa had to hiccup to your message machine instead of to you personally, but am sure you were
out celebrating.

On Sunday when I was talking with Jed he said "you must
have to sing to someone about every other day." But he was
cute because he said "I knew you would call."

Anyway, we love you......we love your little dissertations,
such as the Two Beacons of Light, etc., how neat you are!
Love, Gr/Gr

Happy Day, Sarie!

Gr/Gr: Yes, you were and are truly a "pink joy" to us all..

We love you, we loved reading your Beacons of Light and other various and sundry dissertations..... x o Gr/Gr

29 Years Ago Today

I was 8 years old (almost 9), and my big sister had her first baby, a teeny tiny, 4 lbs. 13 ozs. of pretty, pink joy named Sara. I remember going to the hospital and looking through the glass window into the nursery, and there she was! My new niece. I was the youngest aunt in the 3rd grade, so of course that made me totally cool. But what was really totally cool, was how much I loved her from the very beginning, and always felt a bond with this smart, beautiful, and talented little being. She was like the little sister I never had. And now, she's all grown up and I love her still the same! Happy Birthday, Sara! I love you! Love, Auntie B.

A note to Taylor: From Sara

Sladesnews

Hey Cuzzz, thanks to your inspiring words on the blog, I am interviewing with Sacramento's High-Tech institute on Wednesday to review and question their Pharmacy Tech programs and schooling options. You were right, it looks like I would be able to do this while still pursuing music and music-related side jobs! I thought about a Medical-Assistant job, but I'm not crazy about dealing with people's bodily fluids (ick), so a nice dry, clean environment with nice clean and dry little pills might be better for me (haha!) ......Anyway, happy studying to you and all my studying relatives!!!

Happy Birthday, Jordy!

Just think, Jord, once you were little and cute like Emmy.
Well, you didn't look exactly like Emmy. But you were cute.
Your parents showed us some movies (while we were visiting
on Christmas day) of you dancing at age 2, such an adorable little guy.
Now look at you...........driving around, being so responsible, such a hunk, we really love ya, Gr & Gr

Get Well Soon Grandpa Tom!!

Here is a big hug from your one and only boogery great-grand-baby! We hope that you are feeling better and as soon as our colds are gone we will come see you!
(Emmy is really looking forward to having a second-cousin, Addie and Anni!)

I don't know what to do with myself (Sara)

Sladesnews

So, I know that if I just take a few more "non-fun" classes at the college, I could easily complete my music degree. However, as I start school this week...what do I end up taking?? Voice classes and advanced symphony.!! It's like I can't stop. It's like I just can't bring myself to complete that much needed Geology Lab when I know I could be singing or performing!! I obviously have issues. Tomorrow I go to an orientation at the Sacramento career-center to find out if there are any health-care professions I may like to go into training for. I thought that once I was married and "grown-up" already, that I would be super "together" and have all my goals figured out! Not the case. What do I do with myself?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JO JO!!

Hippo birdie, two ewe Jo. Card coming soon! (and late as usual)

Jenne

Emmy thinks she's all grown up!

Emmy decided to grow up in her sleep last night, and since no one has been posting photos for a while, I thought I would! She did so many new things today! I can hardly believe it.

First time ever feeding herself with a spoon

Walking with no hesitation or fear, she just takes off, following me from room to room. She didn't do that yesterday!

Hanna was drawing and Emmy walked over, Hanna got her a crayon and paper, and she went to town.

You can't really see it very good, but this is what she drew! My little girl is growing up and I can't stop her!

Sara and Danny want to Know: Everyone's New Year's Resolutions!??

Sladesnews

So lets take take down a little list of simple resolutions. Maybe we can learn or get ideas from one another. (Some resolutions are personal-you don't have to share those! : ) But others could be fun and helpful to share!! : )
