Written on a cold Evening
The poet must work with brush and paper,
but this is not what makes the poem.
a man doesn't go in search of a poem-
the poem comes in search of him.

Gr/Gr: Okay, who's the deep philosopher-thinker posting this?
Fess up. It's quite mind-stirring, actually, and helps to stave off the Alzheimer's.
Was it you, Morgs, or your Mom?
Kinda reminds me of something a music composer said once: "The melody or song is out there, you just have to reach out and put it down on paper."
Is Creativity a part of our soul before passing into this sphere....
Or is she planted and nurtured after birth, year by year?...
Love, Gr
It was me, Mel...I got it out of Joe's history book....
Mom's a genious for looking in Joe's book--and Sam's just some kind of genious, who, until now-we didn't really know what a poet he was! Interesting!! Th blog is turning from "glimpses" to "poetry"
Sara
Hey Grandma, wasn't that the musical composer who wrote "Teach me to WalK in The Light"?? You told me this when I was a child I think.
Gr to Sara: It was Sister
Barbara McConochie who wrote "Keep the Commandments" p. 303.
You have quite a memory!
You mean one can be a genius for just looking in a book? Good, then
I'm a genius too. Molano must have inherited from me. har de har
Thanks, Joey, for sharing your book with your Mom. Love, Gr/Gr
