Just informing you of my latest blog adjustment. Over to the left there we have what is called a Blog Roll, which lists our various family blogs on it. Under the blog's name it also shows the title of their last post and when it was posted.

Also - and this is cool - which ever blog was most recently posted on will be at the top of the list! So you'll know if anything new has been written or not.

I know, it's cool.

My Mom is Awesome

Her name is Verdis Annette Howard Slade. How can you not be awesome with a name like that? I guess she didn't think her names were so awesome when she was young, so she went by Toni. All my cousins call her Aunt Toni, and I love that. She birthed six children and has 26 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She raised us all to love the Lord. She sews, she cooks, she cleans, and she serves. She's a talented artist and poet, and she's also very humble about her talents. She's intelligent and wise and leads by example. I love her so much.

Happy Mother's Day, Mom! Thank you for being the perfect role model and for always loving me. You are beautiful!

Mercedes' baby blessing

Hey everyone! I sent an email out with the details to the locals here in Roseville but wanted to let the rest of the family know about it just in case anyone was going to be in town. Mercedes will be blessed in our ward on April 11th (sunday after General Conference) at 1:00p.m. Then there will be a potluck after church at Taylor's parents' house. Mercedes says HI!

Hey everyone, Mercedes will be 5 weeks tomorrow and we can't believe it! She seems like a pretty happy baby most of the time, and her goofy little smiles just crack us up.

Jr. Prom

Last saturday was my Jr. prom, it was so much fun!

Tess added the sleeves to this dress (and the polkadot back) because she's AMAZING! She also did my hair and make-up :) Thanks Tess!

Thank you, Mac and Diana, for babysitting Max and Lily. They had so much fun and keep talking about Luke. I'm sure it was a hassle for you, taking up most of your Saturday and all, but I think those Kloepfers up in heaven are happy we went to the temple for them. We appreciated it so much!! Come visit us sometime!

Oh my goodness, there are no words. We got to meet baby Mercedes over the weekend when she was just 16 days old, and let me tell you, she is one perfect baby. You made a cool kid, Mackenzie and Taylor! Thanks for letting us hold your precious new bundle. We love her!
